Travelers, creators, and builders of Treklist

We're Dean and Tess, two Canadian travelers who've spent years exploring the world and documenting our adventures. We're not a big company or a tech startup. We're a small travel YouTube channel under the Treklist name, and we've been on the road long enough to know what makes travel planning frustrating.

Every trip started the same way: jumping between blogs, forums, Google Maps, booking sites, and scattered notes. We'd spend hours piecing together itineraries from a dozen different sources, and by the time we were done, planning felt like a chore instead of something to be excited about. We always wished there was one place that had everything: curated destination guides, points of interest, activities, booking links, and a way to organize it all without the chaos.

So we built it. Treklist is our vision of what travel planning should be: fun, visual, and all in one place. Discover destinations, build itineraries, book hotels and tours, track the countries you've visited, and connect with other travelers, all without leaving the app. We wanted to create something that adds to the experience of travel, not something that makes it feel like homework.

We're doing this bare bones. It's just the two of us, no team of developers, no marketing department, no investors. Every feature you see was built by us, late at night, between trips.
